Winged!

This is my newest dragon, today I will go to the Studio and Envirotex him. So by Tues I can let the customer know he's ready to ship!

He's getting a little color!

Wings?

Bear with me... I make the wings from aluminium foil, then add a layer of clay. That has to dry over night. Tomorrow I will add more clay and detail. The foil has been epoxied to wooden dowels which are drilled and inserted to her shoulders. She will be shipped over a great distance, so these wings will be detachable, to be assembled when she reaches her destination!

My newest obsession...

I am now fascinated with Avatar! If you haven't seen it...do yourself a favor and go see it in 3D before it leaves the big screen! It's really beautiful!
I made this from polymer clay, painted it with acrylics, and used an eye from the taxidermist!
