Todays progress...

A new dragon in the making...

I am busy working on a new dragon. I have to him it finished by the end of January. I will be working on him or her this weekend...I've got nothing else planned.

The Wall!

Here is a nice pic of my very full wall in my barber shop. This winged dragon keeps a watchful eye on my daughter's chair making sure she shows up for work. The year hes been a slow one...hopefully it will be a bit busier in 2011!

Tea Pot

Well I just started this, I found the tea pot at a thrift store and am painting it with enamel paints. I need to find a few more of these and a creamer and sugar also

Progress...

I am moving right along with this dragon. I was supposed to have him finished by December for the Tucson Gem Show. And I think I'll have him done a couple maybe three weeks early. This was challenging and a bit tedious, but fun because those were the only stipulations put on the creative proccess. "work the stones in" everything else was up to me.

It's not quite done yet...just a few tweaks and then I can start sanding!

Gypsy Wagon

This is a Gypsy Wagon in my own neighborhood. I am in love with this wagon. I can see it in my mind's eye totally restored by me(and my friend Steven).Here are some pictures. I've been stalking this wagon for three years.

I work in acrylics, and I paint what ever I might be obsessed with at the moment, it changes frequently and I've been slacking off a lot the last year or so! I have to get busy!

his one is for a customer of mine who is a dealer at the Tucson Gem Show. He has given me a few stones to incorporate into this dragon anyway I fell like they might fit. I am beginning this week. It should be fun, sometimes it helps to look at some of my old friends.
